2023 ICCO AIR CANADA
Business Excellence Awards
A celebration aimed at recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations that have demonstrated excellence through their involvement and leadership in the community. Whether in the public or private sector, today’s leaders work tirelessly to make a positive impact through their vision, commitment and actions. ITALY: A PLACE TO GO
The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario Canada (ICCO Canada) – in collaboration the Embassy of Italy to Canada, Consulate General of Italy in Toronto, Italian Trade Agency, Istituto Italiano di Cultura, and Italian National Tourist Board – is proud to introduce you to our “Italy A Place To Go”.
This inaugural event is created to spread knowledge that goes beyond the typical Italian charms and attractions. “Italy A Place To Go” will show us all how Italy is both a place of beauty and sustainable opportunity for the future.
The broad perspective from this event will highlight the Economy, Design & Architecture, Innovation & Technology, and Tourism & Culture.

Aperitivo in Maschera
We are pleased to announce that our 2nd edition of “Aperitivo in Maschera” will be marked by the glitz and the glamorous styles of the roaring twenties. Get your 1920s flapper dress with beading and sequins that shimmy, shake and shine and join this special evening. The Aperitivo in Maschera is a networking event for young professionals presented by the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario, sponsored by Pizza Nova and Casa Loma.
Taste of Calabria
The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) and Regione Calabria – Dipartimento Presidenza – Settore Internazionalizzazione, with the support of Unioncamere Calabria, are proud to announce “Promotion of Regione Calabria’s agri-food products and its excellencies in Canada”, a project who’s aim it is to present trade opportunities for the Calabrian food and wine sector in the Canadian market.
CENTItalia 2019
The fourth edition of Italian Food and Cuisine will focus on the Southern Italian region of Calabria with the participation of three renowned chefs, Michelin Star Chef Antonio Abbruzzino, Chef Pino Barbino and Chef Giovanni De Luca, that will represent their region and its excellent food and wines. The week will offer an official opening at Centennial College, a day dedicated to the excellencies of Calabria at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, workshops, master classes and tasting events for industry people, media, general public and culinary arts students.
ICCO Unico Primo Pentola d’Oro 2019
On Friday, November 15, 2019, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) and Unico Primo celebrated the 7th annual Pentola D’Oro Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. Pentola D’Oro celebrates the quintessential societal role of culinary arts and recognizes outstanding work in the Italian culinary and beverage industry in Ontario.

Taking place on October 25, 2019 at the Toronto Design Exchange, IT@CA boasts a lineup of renowned speakers highlighting the best that Italy has to offer. The speakers represent many different industries and will appeal to the event’s wide range of attendees regardless of background, occupation or areas of interest.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario Canada (ICCO Canada) is pleased to present the 20th edition of the Business Excellence Awards (BEA), that will take place on May 25th at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex in Toronto.
The annual BEA is the ICCO Canada’s premier event and a must-attend night for business owners in Ontario. The event celebrates Italian-Canadian entrepreneurial excellence and recognizes the most extraordinary and innovative leaders of the economic, scientific, academic, and cultural communities.

ICCO Canada and True Italian Taste are bringing you our brand-new Tutti a Tavola series of online cooking classes. During this series we will show you how to prepare authentic Italian dishes with specific DOP/IGP products.

The 8th edition of the ICCO Canada Pentola d’Oro – Under the Stars is an online event to promote excellence in food and wine and to recognize individuals as well as businesses and their outstanding contribution to the food and beverage industry, taking place on Wednesday November 25 at 6 pm via Zoom Webinar.
Authentic Italian Table 2019
The Authentic Italian Table is part of a series of initiatives to highlight authentic Italian products with DOP and IGP designations. The Authentic Italian Table includes an educational tour to Italy from April 3 to 10, 2019 with the participation of renowned local chefs, and special dining experiences from May 30 to June 8, 2019.
2019 Business Excellence Awards
On May 23, 2019, the Business Excellence Awards will be held at the Liberty Grand Complex in Toronto, Ontario. Each year for the last seventeen years, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario has been hosting an awards event presenting the most outstanding and innovative leaders in the business, scientific, academic and cultural community.

Once again ICCO is pleased to be participating in Italy’s premier wine event – Vinitaly. From April 7 to April 10, 2019, ICCO is heading a group of delegates, including top wine agencies and restauranteurs from Ontario. Vinitaly is a great opportunity to discover the fascinating world of wine, meet with wine importers and distributors.

ICCO Canada’s mandate to raise awareness for authentic Italian products continues throughout 2021 Following the success of the last years, we will continue to highlight the authenticity, traceability, quality control, and certifications of authentic Italian foods with the goal of educating Canadian audiences on how to identify an authentic Italian product, in order to make informed purchases and enjoy the unrivalled quality of genuine Italian goods.
The Authentic Italian Table 2022
The Authentic Italian Table series has reached its sixth edition in 2022. The event is taking place at the Faema Canada Showroom and will be organized in collaboration with a number of GTA restaurants and grocery stores who will prepare various dishes for the participating media, influencers and industry representatives.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Tracing the dynamic development of the business community of Italian origin in Canada, this book narrates the growth and the transformation of the commercial, economic, social and urban landscape of Toronto and the GTA by documenting the contribution and influence of the Italian Canadian community, its settlement and its economic development through the lives and actions of 45 leaders.

On March 30, 2019 the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) and Pizza Nova will celebrate an authentic Italian Carnival in true Italian style. The event will be hosted at Casa Loma.

CENTItalia 2018
The third edition of CENTItalia took place from November 13 to November 16, 2018. Prominent chefs, food and wine experts, restaurateurs, influencers, educators, journalists, and foodies came together to celebrate the charm and simplicity of Italian cuisine, showcase the authenticity and traceability of its ingredients and demo regional Italian dishes and specialties, while enhancing their qualities and uniqueness.
Golfissimo 2018
ICCO held its 27th annual tournament Golfissimo 2018 on September 13th, 2018 at The Country Club, 20 Lloyd St, Woodbridge. The ICCO ASCA Golfissimo 2018 allowed ICCO members to build industry ties with clients, colleagues and friends as they enjoyed a full day of golf, networking and a post-tournament dinner reception.

ICCO Unico Primo Pentola d’Oro 2017
On Friday, November 17, 2017, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) and Unico Primo are celebrating the fifth edition of Pentola d’Oro Awards Gala. The event is a widely recognized annual Gala within the Italo-Canadian cultural and business community all over Ontario. This year the event will take place in a new outstanding location: Chateau Le Parc Event Centre, in Concord.
Launch of Pizza Cultura
The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario is pleased to announce its exciting new editorial project, Pizza Cultura, a book entirely devoted to the most popular and celebrated dish around the world: pizza! Pizza Cultura is scheduled for launch on November 14, 2017 during CENTITALIA, a week long event on Italian cuisine and authentic and certified Italian products, with the presence of chef from Italy and in-residence, and the organization of master classes, workshop and a symposium.
Sagrantino Festival
12 Days. 7 Restaurants. From October 26 – November 6, seven Italian restaurants will offer a special set-menu experience that will showcase the greatness of Montefalco wines and the rare Sagrantino grape. Festival goers can contact individual restaurants to make a reservation.
CETA Seminar
ICCO will co-host its latest seminar installment on CETA on Thursday September 28th in collaboration with Stikeman Elliott LLP, The City of Toronto and the Consulate General of Italy in Toronto. The seminar promises to be an engaging breakfast discussion about CETA and the new opportunities for building a trade route between Canada, Italy and the EU.
Golfissimo 2017
The ICCO Golfissimo 2017 hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce (ICCO) is a popular annual golf tournament which this year will take place on September 11th, 2017 at the Glen Eagle Golf Club, 15731 Peel Regional Rd 50, Bolton.

On Wednesday, December 14, 2016, ICCO and City of Vaughan celebrated the annual Christmas Party at the Vaughan City Hall. The cocktail reception was held in the Multi Purpose Room from 6:30 to 9:30pm.
Pentola d’Oro 2016
ICCO – Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario and Unico Primo celebrated the fourth annual Pentola d’Oro Awards Gala at downtown Toronto’s ‘The Carlu’. The cocktail and dinner event honoured creative individuals who continuously contribute to the Italian lifestyle and promotes Italian fare internationally.
ICCO Tasting Event at Cheese Boutique
On June 25, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) hosts its second free public tasting event as part of The Extraordinary Italian Taste Project at Cheese Boutique (45 Ripley Avenue) from 12 – 5 p.m. The tasting will offer samples of cheese, balsamic vinegar, pasta, wine and other #MadeinItaly goods.
Antonia Film Screening
ICCO presented the NORTH AMERICAN PREMIERE of Antonia as part of the Italian Contemporary Film Festival on June 12th at 2 p.m. at TIFF Bell Lightbox.
Attendees spent their Sunday afternoon learning about the last ten years of the life of the Italian poet, Antonia Pozzi. Directed by Ferdinando Cito Filomarino.
Italian National Day at Castello Italia
INDCI is a celebration of the culture, heritage and lifestyle of an inclusive community which has established itself as a driving force in the Canadian social fabric, with deep roots to Italy. For the second year running, Italian institutions, associations and committees jointly came together to commemorate Italian National Day in Toronto.

Pentola d’Oro 2015
Each year the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) invites Italian-Canadian food industry in Ontario to celebrate innovation, creativity, excellence, expansion and leadership at the annual “Pentola d’Oro” Fundraising and Awards Gala. The awards recognize the best in Italian food and beverage industry in which the finalists represent the Italian brand in Ontario.
Buonissimo!
The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario, in collaboration with the Region of Lazio, featured new gourmet food products in selected grocery stores of the GTA. Two Lazio tasting corners were set up last fall.
Golfissimo
The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) organized ICCO Golfissimo on September 14, 2015 at the Glen Eagle Golf Club. During the registration, attendees enjoyed a BBQ luncheon and the opportunity to meet Paolo Rossi (1982 World Cup Top Goal Scorer) for autographs and pictures.
2015 Business Excellence Awards
ICCO hosted the 13th annual ICCO Business Excellence Awards. More than 600 guests, including prominent business, political and cultural leaders from the Greater Toronto area gathered to celebrate the excellence of the Italian-Canadian community.
