BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS:
THE NEXT GENERATION

September 18, 2023

ICCO Canada is pleased to celebrate the new generation of Canadian-Italian leaders, innovators, and visionaries whose contributions are invaluable when challenging the status quo and driving progress.

By bringing new ideas, creativity, and passion to their respective domains, as well as advancing in technology, science, business, arts, and social justice, they play a crucial role in shaping the future by introducing fresh perspectives, driving positive change, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Young professionals’ unique perspectives and passion make them vital catalysts for change, allowing them to reshape industries and society, in the workplace and beyond.

A PLATFORM FOR INCLUSIVE ACTION AND ADVOCACY

“Today’s businesses must invest in the next generation, a creative and diverse community bringing an invaluable contribution to the future development of Canada and Italy through innovative perspectives, ideas and approaches. They are the innovation community. Artificial intelligence, aerospace, and biotech are just a few sectors in which younger visionaries and entrepreneurs are bringing positive change, and the BEA: The Next Generation is a way to recognize them.”

– Corrado Paina, Executive Director

Francesco Policaro

Francesco Policaro, the CEO of Policaro Group, is set to take the stage as a speaker during the event. Francesco received The ICCO Next Generation Ron Farano Award in 2019. His remarkable leadership qualities, strategic acumen, and unwavering dedication to propelling progress in the business sector make him a standout example of a young business leader.

A second-generation businessman, he began his career at an early age. An innovator in the auto industry, Francesco has held positions of leadership in multiple areas of the industry and is responsible for the growth of Policaro Group through franchise appointments, business start-ups, and acquisitions which has led to Policaro Group being awarded one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte for two consecutive years.

The recipients of this first edition have been selected through a rigorous nomination and evaluation process.
The honorees have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in their respective fields and the broader community.
