Innovation Desk – Agreement between ICCO & UDINE

September 20, 2017 – The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) signed the Innovation Desk Agreement with Friuli Innovazione, University of Udine and the local Chamber of Commerce.

Udine is a city and comune in northeastern Italy, in the middle of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, which is considered to be the centre of iron and mechanical industries.

ICCO is going to organize initiatives in the innovation sector to promote and develop commercial relationships and partnerships between Italian and Canadian SMEs.

On February 2017 ICCO hosted the first annual award ceremony that  launched the Innovation Desk: ICCO INNOVA AWARDS. It was an opportunity to bring together representatives of various sectors involved in the innovation field (ICT, mechanic, aerospace, life science, biotechnology, etc.).

The objective for the Innovation Desk is to become an annual benchmark for the growth and expansion in the innovation sector in Canada, recognizing leaders in information & communications technology.
