Made in Canada: the Italian Way, the Next Generation

The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario is proud to announce that it is currently undertaking the publishing of its third book. This initiative is a continuation of the previous publications of the ICCO: Celebration, a biographical showcase of Canadian women of Italian origin, and Made in Canada: The Italian Way, which featured the success stories of Canadian entrepreneurs of Italian origin.
The success of the previous publications, the aspiration to reinforce the continuity of Italian-Canadian Culture, as well as the interest of investigating and exploring successful and new business ventures have determined the theme for our next publication: Made in Canada: The Italian Way, the Next Generation. The book comprises interviews to successful young Italian Canadians involved in various professional fields and businesses. Among the themes addressed in this next publication are the leadership and the innovation of the second and third generation of Italian Canadians, their integration and contribution to the growth and advancement of society and to their surrounding community, as well as their relation to their Italian heritage and traditions.
The Launch of Made in Canada: the Italian Way, the Next Generation is expected to be in November 2010!

Made in Canada: The Italian Way

The ICCT's first publication Made in Canada: The Italian Way, features 32 success stories of Canadian entrepreneurs of Italian origin. In November 2004 the book made its debut in Milan presented by Mayor Gabriele Albertini and by Toronto’s Mayor David Miller.

"The accomplishments of Toronto's Italian population help shape every aspect of life in every part of the city,” says Toronto Mayor David Miller. “Nowhere is this more true than in the world of business."

Made in Canada: The Italian Way is the result of the collaboration between the ICCT and Bocconi University in Milan. The book is truly a testament to the success of our community.

If you would like to purchase a copy of this book, please contact the Chamber at 416-789-7169.
