Made in Canada, the Italian Way: the Next Generation
Deadline for nominations: December 4, 2009

The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Toronto is pleased to announce that it is currently undertaking the initiative of publishing its third book: Made in Canada: The Italian Way, the Next Generation.

This project is a continuation of the previous publications of the ICCT: Celebration, a biographical showcase of Canadian women of Italian origin, and Made in Canada: The Italian Way, which showcased the success stories of Canadian entrepreneurs of Italian origin.

The ICCT hopes that our upcoming publication will inspire the continuation of Italian-Canadian culture and investigate new successful business ventures, spearheaded by the next generation of Canadians of Italian origin.

The proposed publication will comprise interviews to young, successful Canadians of Italian origin, under 40 years of age currently involved in different fields of the Canadian business and Culture community, such as entrepreneurial, corporate, cultural, not for profit, scientific, academic, medical, athletic or journalistic.

The various nominations for potential interviewees will be examined by a Selection Committee comprising of: Mr. David Garofalo (Agnico- Eagle), Mr. John Vettese ( Cassels Brock), Mr. John Casola (Investec North America), Mr. Elio Riccio (TD Waterhouse), Mr. Joseph Balsamo (CIBC Wood Gundy), Mr. Robert Sacco (Deloitte & Touche, Customs & International Trade Service), Mr. Ron Sedran (Canaccord Adams), Ms. Alberta Cefis (Scotiabank), Mr. Richard Sist (Rocca Dickson Andreis), Mr. George Visintin (ICCT), Mr. Corrado Paina (ICCT), Ms. Elena Dell’Osbel (ICCT).

Submissions of nominations are admitted until December 4, 2009 at nextgeneration@italchambers.ca. For more information, please contact: Marta Scipolo, (416) 789-7169 ext. 21 or nextgeneration@italchambers.ca
