Ontario Seminars Given in 6 Major Cities in Italy during the Month of October

Seminars about Ontario, its key business sectors and business opportunities were given in 6 of the largest and most industrialized cities in Italy during the month of October 2011. Corrado Paina, Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario and Claudia Barbiero, who manages the Chambers’ Italian office in Milan presented and met with companies, in collaboration with the local Italian Chambers in the following cities: Rome, Milan, Varese, Turin, Brescia and Como. There was a genuine interest in Canada and in particular in the Ontario marketplace from Italian companies wanting to increase trade in our Province.
In addition, in Brescia, the Chamber presented Ontario’s automotive industry at the 1st edition of TEKNOMOTIVE, the only fair exhibition in Italy with an international character dedicated to materials, technologies, components and subcontracting for the transport industry. There were more than 3,500 visitors at this fair, 35 delegates from Canada, Korea, India, Russia and Turkey, 16 conferences and technical sessions with 90 speakers and with a public audience of 600 specialized operators.
