On November 9, ICCO presented a post-municipal election wih John Tory at the KPMG offices, located in the heart of downtown Toronto. As a leading figure head in the Canadian political sphere for the past two decades, Mr. Tory shared his valuable insight about the results of the recent municipal election in Toronto. He spoke diligently about the challenges that the new elected GTA mayors and councillors will face in sustaining Toronto and other GTA municipalities as the main business capitals of Canada. He compared the demographic trends of the election results in Toronto with other municipalities within the GTA. In addition he acknowledged the influence of the previous administration on voters, and its impact on the current election results. The event concluded with a very interesting Q&A session on the many issues that were raised during the discourse. ICCO would like to thank all of the guests who attended the event.
