This year, Italy celebrates its 150th anniversary as a unified country!!
The landmark birthday will be marked by hundreds of thousands of celebrations around the world, starting from Torino, which was the first capital of unified Italy; a distinction they earned on March 17th, 1861. Torino’s celebration runs for a year-long party called Italia 150, with extraordinary art exhibits, fine food, wines and with events honouring the people who made Italy one of the most popular travel destinations in the world.
