Community Action

Towards the end of 2010, a new sub-division was formed within the ranks of ICCO Forward, known as the Community Action Committee. The CAC's primary mandate is to donate its time and efforts to help organizations that help others in a volunteer capacity. As individuals we bring passion, as a group we bring dedication and professionalism, whatever the cause may be.

The CAC has been active since November 14th, 2010, which was when our first initiative with the Good Shepherd took place.

Here, a few of us served food to those in need for three and a half hours. This is a regular commitment  that the CAC will make to the Good Shepherd. To learn more about the Good Shepherd, you may visit their site: goodshepherdcentres.ca.

Other initiatives will be annual as the Tax Clinic at Villa Charities. The first one took place on April 2nd where a few members of the CAC helped residents filing their tax return.

CAC returned to the Good Shepherd on April 3rd, between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to serve breakfast.

If your organization can benefit from the services of ICCO Forward’s CAC, or if you are an individual interested in getting involved with the upcoming initiatives, please contact  David Mordini at david.mordini@williamsandpartners.com or reach Mila Cristalli at milacristalli@hotmail.com.
